Sensitization Tour on the Regional Electricity Market Launch

An ECOWAS delegation comprising representatives of the ECOWAS Commission, the West African Power Pool (WAPP) and ERERA went on a sensitization mission to Member States on the launch of the Regional Electricity Market scheduled for 29^th June 2018 in Cotonou, Benin.

Members of the delegation paid a courtesy call on the President of the ECOWAS Commission, Mr. Jean-Claude Kassi Brou (4^th left) on 22nd May 2018 in Abuja. With him are (L-R): ERERA’s Communication Officer, Mr. Uwem Thompson, the Secretary General of WAPP, Mr. Siengui Apollinaire Ki, ERERA Chairman, Professor Honore Bogler, the ECOWAS Commissioner for Energy and Mines, Mr. Sediko Douka, the Managing Director of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Mr. Gur Mohammed, ERERA Council Member, Dr. Haliru Dikko and TCN’s General manager (Public Affairs), Mrs. Ndidi Mbah.
