Chairman of ERERA at the ECOWAS Sustainable Energy Forum

The Chairman of ERERA, Mr. Laurent Tossou, joined over 400 delegates including ECOWAS leaders and other international stakeholders at the 7th Edition of the ECOWAS Sustainable Energy Forum (ESEF 2022), which took place from October 31 to November 1, 2022 in Abuja, Nigeria.

With the theme “Achieving Sustainable Energy Targets in the ECOWAS Region: Moving from Resilience to Transition!”, the ESEF 2022 provided a platform for different stakeholders to get more engaged on sustainable energy issues. The forum also sought to catalyze public and private partnerships, contribute towards the creation of an enabling policy and regulatory environment, and the mobilization of new investments in the ECOWAS region’s sustainable energy sector.

The ESEF 2022 got commitment from Member States, donor partners and technical partners with the hope of increasing ECOWAS citizens’ access to energy.
